We are working on writing with adjectives, specifically adjectives using our five senses! Cheers to our crunchy, squishy, salty, sweet, creamy, delicious, smooth, rough, and nutty treats!
We will be performing our Presidents' Day Readers' Theater on Tuesday, February 18th. The show will begin at 10:40. The students have worked hard and would love for you to attend. We have scheduled it right before lunch so you will have the opportunity to stay and eat with your student. If you choose to eat with your student, please call or e-mail the office so they can arrange for a school lunch for you! Thanks and we hope to see you then! Our Friend Bryce Jacobs joined us at school today. He attended our school wide Veterans Day assembly. He then spoke to the students about his time in the United States Army. He also answered the students' many questions. He then took our "Thank You Banner" to the VFW Post 2503 located on 89th and Military Road. It is currently on display there! They are having a Veterans Day spaghetti feed tonight, if you'd like to support the VFW and see our lovely banner!
Thank you, Mr. Jacobs and all our Veterans! Parents are invited to a special Halloween Readers' Theater performance! We will begin at 8:45 am on Friday, October 25th. It has been moved to the morning due to our afternoon Terra Nova Ice Cream Social! Monday, October 28 - Pajama Day
Tuesday, October 29 - Hawaiian Day Wednesday, October 30 - Crazy Hair Day *Student Council will be spraying hair for $1 before school starts Thursday, October 31 - Black Out (wear black) *Bring Halloween costume to change into before our school parade and class party Friday, November 1 - Wear Red *Parade to begin at 1:30, dress for the weather The students will be taking the Terra Nova tests Monday, October 21- Thursday, October 24.
